Desktop Support and LAN Coordinator

Job Description:

  • Follow through with specific initiatives and directives from IT Committee regarding the deployment of new desktop products and services.
  • Coordinate resolution of end user issues with core network Managed Services Provider
  • Coordinate and assist with desktop software upgrades.
  • Assist with end-user hardware moves, issues, set-ups and replacements.
  • Maintain inventory of technology related items.
  • Support third-party telephone system vendor with maintenance and support.
  • Support third-party access card system vendor with maintenance and support.
  • Coordinate set-up of new users and handle intake of documents and contacts.
  • Perform research on IT related products and prices.
  • Coordinate high production printer/scanning equipment issues, services calls and usage to vendor.

Requirements:

  • IT generalist with a minimum of 2 years of experience providing end user help desk support in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Strong proficiency with various desktop applications including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong written, verbal communication and organizational skills required.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to complete job duties with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent customer service skills required. Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills including the ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team with peers and leadership within the organization, as well as appraising key stakeholder with respect to proposed or planned developments and upgrades.

Trademark Paralegal – Mid to Senior Level

Leason Ellis LLP is seeking an experienced paralegal to join our dynamic trademark team! Must have a paralegal certification and/or a college degree and significant experience with trademark work. Required experience includes trademark prosecution, registration, search and clearance, and enforcement — U.S. and foreign filings and portfolios, applications, dockets and preparing USPTO and client correspondence.

    The successful candidate must have the demonstrated ability to:

  • assist in all phases of domestic and international trademark prosecution
  • support multiple trademark attorneys, as well as internal and external clients
  • prioritize and manage a full workload with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • work both independently and in collaboration with other paralegals and attorneys
  • articulate clearly and effectively in verbal and written communications with a strong focus on accuracy and proper grammar usage
  • comprehend and follow through with instructions, as well as ask well thought out questions when clarity is needed
    Specific Duties Include:

  • Prepare and file USPTO forms for all phases of prosecution and maintenance.
  • Prepare and file assignment documents with the USPTO.
  • Client correspondence regarding all phases of prosecution including following up on deadlines, obtaining specimens of use, and preparing reports.
  • Instruct and prosecute foreign filings including through the Madrid Protocol.
  • Complete and attend to execution of Powers of Attorney and legalization of documents.
    Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate.
  • Experience with trademark prosecution and USPTO forms, database, and website.
  • Strong writing skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize workload.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel.
  • Experience with Corsearch and exposure to docketing software is a plus.
