PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:

PAUL FIELDS has extensive experience in litigating trademarks, copyrights and patents. He regularly advises clients on trademark and patent issues, including both procurement and maintenance, on a worldwide basis. A substantial portion of Mr. Fields’ practice focuses on trademark rights and related issues such as unfair competition and false advertising. His practice also includes the prosecution, enforcement and counseling of patents and patent-related matters.

Mr. Fields brings practical experience as an engineer for Columbia University Electronics Research Laboratories, where he designed new radar circuitry, to his legal practice.

He also worked at Bell Telephone Laboratories as a patent attorney, and his expertise in patents includes electronic communication devices and instrumentation, optical devices and computer hardware and software.

Mr. Fields has been recognized by his peers as a Trademark Attorney warranting inclusion in the last six annual editions of The International Who's Who of Trademark Lawyers. He is also a frequent speaker at the International Trademark Association and other associations in the Intellectual Property fields.
